SUMMARY:Brenham Heritage Museum Honoring Black History with New Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The Brenham Heritage Museum is celebrating Black History Month with a new exhibit. The museum presents John & Mary Marks: A Love Story That Transcends Time and Boundaries.  The exhibit will showcase the life and times of John and Mary Marks\, two of Washington County’s earliest known African American settlers.  The exhibit will be available in the Blue Bell Gallery during regular museum hours\, Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Groups of 10 or more can call the museum at 979-830-8445 to schedule specific times for tours.
