FAB FIVE TO TAKEOVER DOWNTOWN BRENHAM FOR HOT NIGHTS COOL TUNES

  

Downtown Brenham is set for a British takeover, as the Fab Five are performing this weekend for week three of Hot Nights Cool Tunes.

The Beatles cover-band will perform music from the British Invasion, such as The Rolling Stones, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and The Animals.  The band was voted best cover/tribute band by the Houston Press for five years in a row, from 2011-2015.

Last year’s Fab Five program was cancelled, due to rain.  This will be the second time the band is performing in Brenham.

This week’s program is sponsored by Tippitt Dental Group, Germania Insurance, Dahmann and Associates LLC, Seidel Schroeder, and Brenham National Bank.

There will also be a classic car cruise-in, along with several vendors selling food and drinks.

KTEX-106’s Blake Hickerson will be the host for the concert, which starts at 7 p.m.

Next weekend, the Texas Unlimited Band will bring guest a slate of country, ‘80s music, current hits, and old school rock ‘n roll.
