In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, Faith Mission’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors Disaster Program is once again in full force.
As individuals and families are losing jobs and are unable to work, Faith Mission says it will continue its current service delivery, with modifications in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), and the White House.
Faith Mission is the Volunteer Disaster Agency for Brenham and Washington County, and for over 14 years has responded to disasters such as Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ike and Harvey, as well as the floods of May 2016.
Faith Mission has activated its Neighbors Helping Neighbors Disaster Accounts at Bank of Brenham, Brenham National Bank, and Citizens State Bank.
The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Training for volunteers, which was to be hosted by Faith Mission April 17th and 18th, has been postponed.
