A Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy has recently been honored for outstanding performance.
Deputy Darrell Maze has been recognized as Deputy of the Third Quarter for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office recently began an award program to recognize deputies for their performance. The program will acknowledge a deputy and award a plaque each quarter throughout the year.
Sheriff Keith Korenek says Deputy Maze is very proactive in the Sheriff’s Office, going above and beyond in his work ethics for his services to Fayette County citizens.
Deputy Maze has worked over nine years in law enforcement, with the past 3 ½ years serving Fayette County. Maze says he is proud to protect the citizens of the county.
Deputy Maze lives in Fayette County and has been married to his wife, Ami, for 13 years. They also have two children: Hunter and Chesney Maze.
