FAYETTE COUNTY NARCOTICS K-9 SEIZES 132 POUNDS OF COCAINE

  

lobosandthumannJust before 8:00am on Friday, Sgt. Randy Thumann and K9 partner “Lobos” seized 132 pounds of cocaine, with a street value of approximately 6 million dollars, during a traffic stop.

Sgt. Thumann conducted the stop on I-10 at the 658 eastbound mile marker and met with the driver who reportedly showed extreme nervousness.

After observing Lobos alert to several different areas of the vehicle Sgt. Thumann removed 132 pounds of cocaine from several wooden blocks that were hollowed out to transport the cocaine and also an altered oil filter and air cleaner.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center. The driver and vehicle information is not being released at this time due to an ongoing investigation.

  2. Really??? What money? The cops don’t sell the 6 million dollars of cocaine after they confiscate it. Maybe they send it all to the pentagon and get the cash street value mailed back to their police department.
