Cathy Chaloupka of Rural Texas Tours, says they specialize in helping people make day vacation trips to see all manner of historic sites in and around Fayette County.
She says summertime is the prime time for these type of visits, especially for those who depend of these trips for their only vacation each year.
There is plenty to see and Chaloupka says they have ways to let even the disabled to make the trips.

Chaloupka says there is plenty of interest in the Fayette County production of kolaches, numerous museums and the sites of Texas history.
She says they take a special effort to ensure the historical information is accurate. Chaloupka says so many want to see displays concerning cowboys, Indians and the Austin Old 300 Settlement.
