“FELIX” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Felix” as its Pet of the Week.

Felix is a ten-week-old domestic shorthair kitten.  Brenham Animal Services staff say Felix may be shy at first, but after getting acquainted, he will be up in laps for snuggles and naps in no time.

Felix is alright with being hugged, but he does not like being pinned down for too long.  Staff say his favorite toy is the feather wand, with anything dangly a close second.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center remains closed to visitors, but anyone interested in adopting or fostering a pet can see the shelter’s available pets online at www.petfinder.com.  Appointments can be made by going to the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page, or calling 979-337-7351.  Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.
