FIREMAN’S FIESTA SATURDAY AT BRENHAM FIREMAN’S TRAINING CENTER
The day has arrived for one of the Brenham Fire Department’s biggest annual fundraisers.
The 51st Annual Fireman’s Fiesta takes place today (Saturday) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fireman’s Training Center.
The event has undergone some changes due to COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, and as such will only be held as a drive-thru fish fry. No drawing or auction will be held this year.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward continued repairs and renovations at the Fireman’s Training Center, which has served as an event venue and emergency shelter for 36 years.
Tickets are $15 for a plate of fried fish, potato salad, and coleslaw. They can be purchased at the Brenham fire station, from members of the fire department, and at Robert’s Service Station, K&M Grocery, or Dan’s Meat Market. Tickets can be purchased up until serving begins.
KTEX-106’s Trail Boss Troy and Holly Ryder will be at the Fireman’s Training Center this evening, broadcasting live from the friendly country cruiser.
