FIREMAN’S FIESTA THIS SATURDAY AT FIREMAN’S TRAINING CENTER

  

Anyone anxious for their fill of steak and sausage is encouraged to come to this weekend’s annual Brenham Fireman’s Fiesta.

Saturday evening at the Fireman’s Training Center, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., guests can eat to their heart’s content, while also browsing an auction.  The yearly event raises funds for the Brenham Fire Department.  Brenham Fire Chief Ricky Boeker says it’s a great way to get to know the local firemen.

 

Boeker says the Fiesta, one of two major fundraisers all year for the department, has developed quite a bit over its 49-year-history.

 

All of the funds raised will go towards the purchase of new equipment for the department.

 

Tickets are $13 in advance—which will be sold until tomorrow (Friday)—and $15 at the door.  Tickets can be purchased at the fire station and from BFD members, as well as Robert’s Service Station, Dan’s Meat Market, and K&M Grocery.
