‘FOR THE CITY’ STILL HOSTING ANNUAL SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

The nonprofit group For The City (FTC) is moving forward with its annual school supply drive to provide for students in need in Washington County.

The uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many organizations and raised questions about the upcoming school year, but FTC said they are committed to assisting local families and their students’ education.

FTC is currently accepting requests through a self-nomination process where families can fill out this form to request supplies for their students. Distribution of the school supplies will be done before the start of the school year.

FTC President Tori Bryan said that the goal this year is to provide 1,500 students with needed supplies. FTC has funding to provide for 750 students, but they are seeking to double that amount.
