FORTNIGHTLY CLUB OF BRENHAM ANNUAL BOOK SALE BEGINS WEDNESDAY AT FAIRGROUNDS
Tens of thousands of books will be available to peruse and purchase next week at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
The Fortnightly Club of Brenham will host its annual Used Book Sale February 26th through the 29th. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Fortnightly Club President Barbara Warmen says a staggering amount of items will be on sale throughout the event.
Warmen says all proceeds from the sale will benefit the club and its efforts to support the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.
Admission on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is $10 per person. After that, through the rest of the sale, admission is $1. Admission for children is free, as well as parking.
