FOUR ARRESTED FOR WARRANTS

  
Frednisha Hill

Four people have been arrested locally over the weekend on outstanding warrants.

Friday, just after 8:30 p.m., officers made a traffic stop on North Park Street Street.

The driver, 24-year old Frednisha Hill of Houston, had three active warrants out of Washington County.

She was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then, just before 9:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the local WalMart in reference to a theft.

Two Brenham residents, 31-year old Allan Gilmon and 29-year old Taquisha Williams, are accused of trying to leave the store with several stolen items.

Investigation showed Williams had two active traffic warrants out of Washington County.

Lawrence Burton

Both were transported to the Washington County Jail.

Sunday, officers found 52-year old Lawrence Burton of Chappell Hill in the 1500 block of Farewell St.

Burton was placed in custody for a warrant for tampering w/physical evidence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Zachary Hopes
(Washington Co. Jail)

This morning, just before 2:30, 29-year old Zachary Hopes of Somerville was found in a car in the 1000 block of South Day St.

Hopes was wanted on two active warrants for possession of marijuana taken to jail.
