FOUR ARRESTED ON DRUG POSSESSION CHARGES

  

Edit 7-29-2020  - Charges against one of the men were dropped by the Washington County District Attorney's Office.  His name and mugshot have been removed from this story per our policy. 

Four young Brenham men face drug charges after their arrests Wednesday afternoon.

Just before 2:00 p.m., police initiated a traffic stop in the 1600 block of South Market Street.

The occupants were found in possession of near two-and-a-half pounds of THC edibles, THC vape pen cartridges and marijuana.

Facing charges are: 17-year old Samuel Keim, 20-year old Jamarcus McGruder and 17-year old Benjamin Simmons, all of Brenham.

Each is charged with, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.

    1. My best guess is that because they are all charged as adults … so they can release the names
