FOUR ARRESTED ON WARRANTS OVER THE WEEKEND

  

 

Four people have been taken into custody by Brenham Police on outstanding warrants.

Friday morning, around 10:30, police located 37-year old Detrick Nelms of Navasota, near Burleson and West Jefferson streets.

Oscar Griffin III
(Washington Co. Jail)

Nelms was taken into custody on a pair of warrants:  Burglary of A Habitation and Assault causing Bodily Injury/Family Violence.

Nelms was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Also Friday, Brenham Police located 34-year old Oscar Griffin III of Brenham, in the 18000 block of Hwy 105.

Griffin was taken into custody for five active warrants for, Unauthorized use of a Vehicle, Theft of Materials, Criminal Non-Support, Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Theft of Material Aluminum/Copper/Brass—Less than $30,000.

Griffin was transported to the jail.

Jamichael Daniels
(Washington Co. Jail)

Just after 4:30 p.m., Friday, police observed 29-year old Jamichael Daniels of Brenham in the 600 block of Pleasantview Avenue.

Daniels was wanted on active warrants for two Child Support Warrants and Bond Forfeiture out of Austin County for Possession of Marijuana.

Clayton Turner
(Washington Co. Jail)

Saturday, just before 1:00 p.m., 23-year old Clayton Turner of Bellville was pulled over on a traffic stop in the 2700 block of State Hwy 36 South, for an equipment violation.

Investigation revealed Turner had three active warrants out of Washington County.

Turner taken into custody on the warrants.
