FREE FISHING SATURDAY THIS WEEKEND

  

This Saturday, the first Saturday of June, is the annual tradition with Texas Parks and Wildlife of no license required to fish throughout the State.

Applying to both fresh and saltwater, the free fishing day kicks off the summer, and is an effort by the TPWD to get families outside and enjoying the parks, lakes, and beaches together as they take advantage of the natural resources abundant throughout our great State.

While there is no license required to fish, any fish caught and kept must still meet the guideline requirements for each breed, which can be found on the Parks and Wildlife website.
