GAME CHANGERS AND FATHER’S DAY

  

The Washington County Ministerial Alliance wants to make this Sunday, Father’s Day, a special one, devoted to the game changers concept.

The Rev. Brent Hampton of Brenham Presbyterian Church said he was inspired by Brenham Head football coach Glen West, who is a member of his congregation, to bring ‘Game Changers’ not only to students, teachers and business leaders, but to the churches in our community.

Game Changers is a new motivational program, and ‘a call to action’ that teaches people to transforms themselves into successful people by accepting core values.

Coach Glen West introduced the program to the Brenham school district in a workshop one year ago.

The business community in the Washington County Chamber of Commerce also recently had a conference on the Game Changers program.

Now, the Rev. Randy Wells, working Hampton have brought the concept to the Washington County Ministerial Alliance.  Hampton proposed the idea that on Father’s Day, this Sunday, all the churches preach sermons concerning the Game Changers concept.  The Alliance unanimously agrees. Wells said at least 15 churches will have ‘Game Changers’ sermons this Sunday.
