GAS INCHES UP ONE-CENT THIS WEEK
The price of a gallon of gas in Texas went up one cent this past week.
According to the AAA Texas, the statewide average price for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel in Texas is $2.66.
That price is one cent more than last week and 61 cents more per gallon compared to this same time last year.
In Brenham, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.65, with a low of $2.52 and a high of $2.79.
Drivers in Midland are paying the most on average at $3.12 while drivers in San Antonio are paying the least at $2.53 per gallon.
The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.88, one cent more than this day last week and 62 cents more than the price per gallon at this same time last year.
