GIDDINGS HIGH SCHOOL NAMES TOP 2019-20 GRADUATES
Giddings High School has named its top two senior graduates ahead of its graduation ceremony this weekend.

Emiry Brade has been named valedictorian with a grade point average of 4.22, while Bailey Bloodworth was named salutatorian with a GPA of 4.15.
Brade, the daughter of Thomas Brade and Juliet Sherfy, will attend Southeastern Louisiana University to major in Music Education. Bloodworth, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Bloodworth, will study Biomedical Science at Texas A&M.

Giddings High School’s graduation ceremony is slated for Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at Buffalo Stadium. Graduates will only be allowed to have five guests, and no one will be admitted without a ticket. Social distancing protocols will be followed for seating and for the graduates on the field.
The ceremony will be livestreamed on the Giddings ISD Facebook page.
