GIDDINGS MAN ARRESTED IN BRYAN FACING CAPITAL MURDER CHARGE FROM SAN MARCOS
A Giddings man arrested over the weekend on drug charges in Bryan has been linked to a murder investigation out of San Marcos.

According to court records, 23-year-old Jon Hunter Jervis is charged with capital murder by terroristic threat on a warrant from the San Marcos Police Department.
Jervis was arrested Sunday morning after police were called out to a motel on Highway 21, when employees there found him passed out in a car in the parking lot. In the car, police found over six grams of meth inside several plastic bags, along with unused syringes. They also found a wallet containing credit cards and IDs belonging to other people.
Jervis remains in the Brazos County Jail on $80,000 bond, for the charges from his arrest in Bryan. Bond on the capital murder charge has not been set. Details on the murder investigation out of Hays County were not immediately available.
