GO TEXAN ACTIVITIES IN WASHINGTON, BRAZOS COUNTIES

Go Texan season kicks off this weekend in the Brazos Valley.

The Washington County Go Texan fundraiser opened up Friday night at the La Bahia Hall in Burton, with the Barbeque Cookoff.

Today (Saturday), the barbeque winners will be announced, along with live and silent auctions and a dance with The Crossroads Band, starting at 8 p.m.

There is a $10 cover charge for the dance, which will be bring-your-own-beverage.  Coolers are welcome, but no reserve tables.
