GOVERNMENT OFFICES CLOSED TODAY

  

Local government offices will be closed today (Wednesday) in observance of Veterans Day.

Brenham City Hall and the Washington County courthouse will be closed, as will other non-essential offices for both the city and county.

The city-operated collection station and recycling center will be closed. Both will reopen Thursday for normal operating hours.

There will be no residential yard debris pickup.

Commercial garbage routes will be run as normal, however.

Schools in the Brenham and Burton districts will have classes. Special Veterans Day activities will be held on most of their campuses.
