HANDGUN THEFT

  

Brenham police are searching for a stolen .45 handgun, taken in a pickup truck burglary early Thursday morning.

Officers Heather Sowders and Sgt. Curtis Schoen were called to the scene at the Brenham La Quinta Inn in the 2900 block of Woodridge Drive.  Some guests at the hotel report the driver’s side window of their Toyota Tundra was broken out when they came out to their vehicle just before 8am Thursday.  They saw their handgun had been stolen along with three magazines of ammunition. Police are investigating.
