HEMPSTEAD MAN ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH MURDER OF BRENHAM MAN

A Hempstead man has been arrested and charged with a Brenham murder that occurred nearly four years ago.

23-year old Brian Glover of Hempstead was arrested for the December, 2013 murder of Keith O’Bryan Coleman of Brenham.

Coleman told authorities just before he died that two men had entered his home, touching off a confrontation that led to the shooting.

The suspects fled the scene. Coleman was taken to the hospital where he died.
Glover was located Wednesday night at a convenience store in the Hempstead area. Following a brief foot chase, Glover was taken into custody by Hempstead Police.

He is currently being held in the Waller County Jail on one-million dollars bond.
Family members of Coleman have expressed their gratitude for the continued efforts of Brenham Police.

The investigation continues.

  1. This is great news for the family and I hope they get alittle closure now that one of the two suspects are behind bars!
Do onto others as you wish done onto you!
Great work by all involved and don’t let him sit in jail with 3 free daily meals plus clean water and clean clothes, free health and dental a 60 inch tv to watch and a library!
*WoW in reality they got it made so please everyone involved forgive but never forget and move forward for the death penalty!!!!!!!!

    1. “They got it made,” but I don’t see you committing crimes just to get in. Although I do recall two cases in the last couple years of elderly men ‘robbing’ a bank so they could go to jail; one to get away from his wife, and one to get the healthcare.

      1. *!Really, Pondered… that was a joke!! “They got it made” I didn’t say anything about doing a crime to get the life of luxury I just stated the facts so he or anyone else don’t sit in jail with all the privileges that some of us do without on a daily basis and hurry the death penalty process up for this cowardly act!

    2. This is such great news. I’m so happy for his family. I just hate his mom is not here to witness this. She would be happy to k ow that her baby killer has be caught. Thanks to all the law enforcement that has dedicated their time and effort to ensuring Justice was served. My God is awesome. To the family I know it doesn’t take the place of your love one. I hope you get some comfort in knowing that this person is not able to hurt anyone else.
