HIGHWAYS IN BRAZOS CO. QUIET ON CHRISTMAS DAY

  

The highways of the Brazos Valley were safe and sound over Christmas Day.

No fatalities or serious injuries are reported as a result of any serious accidents in Washington or any adjacent counties.

The Department of Public Safety as well as local and county authorities are out in full force throughout this weekend.

No injuries are reported in a crash in Robertson County.

A family in Hearne was spending a day at home when an SUV crashed into their house on West 7th Street around 4 p.m. Christmas Day.

Residents say they were watching television when they heard a large crash in the next room. There, they found that an SUV had crashed through the wall of their home, into a front room of their home, taking out an entire wall.

The driver reported no injuries, and no one in the home at the time of the crash was hurt.
