HOSPICE SOIREE IN JUNE
For 25 years Hospice Brazos Valley has been helping those with life limiting illnesses and their families, with the appropriate medical care, counseling, understanding and anything else that can make their clients feel more comfortable.
Lucie Barnett says that because they are celebrating a quarter of a century of serving the community with this kind of care, is one of the many reasons Hospice Brazos Valley is holding its annual Hospice Soiree early this year.
Ms. Barnett says the Soiree will be Saturday June 7th at the Silver Wings Ballroom.
Barnett says they had held the Soiree in September for years but decided to move it to a less busy time of year.
Nonetheless, there will be plenty to do at the Soiree. This year’s theme if Hospice Soiree—Past, Present and Future! You are invited to join them dining and other entertainment along with a silent auction.
Barnett says this is all for a worthy cause says they have plenty to celebrate as they look back on their first 25 years. They have helped over 11,000 patients and their families, expanded their service area to encompass allor part of 17 counties, developed comprehensive bereavement programs providing support to anyone who suffers for a loss whether or not their services were used.
