I-10 ACCIDENT SLOWS TRAFFIC OVERNIGHT
I-10 in Waller County has reopened after an overnight accident near the Brazos River Bridge.
The wreck, involving an 18-wheeler, occurred around 1:00 a.m. near Peach Ridge Road.
Authorities say the East-bound lanes were closed for several hours, with traffic backed up for several miles as it was detoured onto the feeder road.
The accident scene was eventually cleared after several hours with traffic now flowing smoothly.
It is unknown if there were any injuries involved with the accident.
