JUDGE BRIEDEN DECLARES DISASTER
Washington County Commissioners are expected to extend a disaster declaration when they meet Tuesday morning.
County Judge John Brieden made the declaration Friday morning, in order to qualify for possible FEMA funds for those affected by the recent heavy rains.
Brieden says this declaration involves the extensive storms that hit the county last month…
The rest of the meeting involves mostly routine items for the commissioners’ court.
They will meet Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the Washington County Courthouse.
