JUNETEENTH BANQUET TO BE HELD NEXT SATURDAY
Royalty for the 2019 Brenham Juneteenth celebration will be introduced next Saturday.
The Juneteenth Royalty Banquet will be held next Saturday evening at 6:00 at New Life Church of God, at 1990 FM 389 in Brenham.
The Junior and Senior kings and queens will be introduced during the banquet.
They will reign over activities, which begin Saturday, June first with the Formal Ball at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
The Juneteenth celebration begins Friday, June 14th with a free concert at Firemen’s Park with the Brown Sugar Band. Saturday, the 15th will kick off with the Annual Parade at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Brenham. That will be followed by activities at Firemen’s Park until 4:00 p.m. with DJ Keith Cooper.
