JUNIOR CORONATION AND MAIFESTIVAL FUN
There is a full evening of fun at the Maifestival Grounds at Fireman’s Park beginning at 6pm.
The celebration of Brenham’s German heritage will feature a series of German bands will have lots of great music from the old country, but there is more. Tonight the Anthony Moreno Band will perform plays from 7pm-10:30pm. After that Cory Morrow takes to the stage.
There is more fun across the way at the Fireman’s Park baseball fielf. The Junior Coronation begins at 7 with Jackson Edward Van Dyke and Piper McCall Puckett reigning over the Court of Maifest Mysteries.
Queen Piper Puckett says the past few months have been a very exciting time for her.
The Junior King Jackson Edward Van Dyke says this has been an exciting time for him as well. Among the most exciting: meeting the Governer.
Jackson and Piper will join their senior royalty counterparts, Caleb Rodenbeck and Caroline Webb, in the Maifest Parade Saturday morning.
The Maifestival grounds will be open right after the parade with a host of festivities to include the Country Flavors Ice Cream Smorgasbord, in which a six dollar arm band gets you all the Blue Bell ice cream you can eat.
The Senior Coronation is Saturday night at seven pm.
