KWHI TO CELEBRATE FFA WEEK WITH SPECIAL PROGRAMS
KWHI will celebrate National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Week all throughout next week.
From Monday to Friday, February 18th through the 22nd, KWHI will air short programs from Washington County FFA members. These programs will air during the morning, noon, and evening newscasts.
In these programs, FFA members will discuss their duties, along with the history of the FFA and its role in the community.
The FFA Week programs are sponsored by 24 businesses, who are involved with farming and agriculture in Washington County. FFA Week sponsors include Krenek’s Tractor Repair, Brenham Produce, Don’s Appliance, Washington County Tractor, SFS – Schulte Farm Services, McCoy’s Building Supply, Cattleman’s Supply, Oak Creek Farm, Washington County Farm Bureau, Hildebrandt Meat Market, Cattleman’s Brenham Livestock Auction, K&M Grocery, Philip’s Veterinary Hospital, Korth & Linke Welding, Giddings Livestock Commission, Washington Animal Clinic, Bilski Water Wells, Triple S Welding, Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli, Mill Creek Glass, ATS Irrigation, Two Creek Feed & Farm, Edward Jones – Andrea Holle, and Mid South Synergy.
