KWHI TO HOST “CANDIDATES’ FORUM” FEBRUARY 12TH
KWHI has announced plans to hold a “Candidates’ Forum” for local candidates in the March primary elections.
The forum is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12th at 5:30 p.m. in the Brenham National Bank lobby.
The candidates for the contested primary races of Washington County Commissioner of Precinct One—Don Koester and Rick Seeker—and Washington County Tax Assessor-Collector—Cheryl Gaskamp and Daphne Kohring—will all be invited to the forum.
Shirley Harris-Jackson, running unopposed in the Democratic primary for county commissioner of Precinct One, will also be invited.
KWHI’s Ed Pothul will moderate the forum, and will take questions from those in attendance at Brenham National Bank, from news media, and from emails sent to mail@kwhi.com.
The forum will be broadcast live on KWHI AM 1280 and FM 101.7, and streamed live on kwhi.com and on the KWHI mobile app.
