The Washington County Ladies Lions Club has announced its award winners for 2018.

The award for Lion of the Year went to two members this year:  Donna Clay and Donna Gandy were co-winners.   This is a top award the club can bestow.

Rookie of the Year was Enid Kocian. The Rookie award is a first year member who excels in service projects and club involvement.

Also at their latest meeting, the club’s Past President Jennie Luedemann installed 12 new members, and Zone chair Laverne Krumrey presented other special awards to outstanding members.

The Lions also welcomed new members for 2018.

The Club also presented a special donation to Stephanie Wehring, speaker for the Boys & Girls Club.
