The Lee County Fair opens for a three day run next week.
Giddings Area Chamber of Commerce President Denise Harlan says the fair opens at the fairgrounds just outside Giddings for fun, entertainment and delicious food in the Charcoal Challenge Barbecue Cook Off.
The fair continues through Saturday, May 17th.
Harlan says Friday is seniors day with senior citizens getting in for free from 10am to 4pm. In addition to the regular fair fun, they can get health screenings.
There is great music on the stage both Friday and Saturday night. Central Texas Sounds and The Texas Unlimited Band and Kevin Fowler are all on stage Friday night. Red Alert and Roger Krueger are on stage Saturday night.
A season pass is $20. A daily ticket is $10 if bought in advance, they are $12 at the gate.
