LLOYD SAUNDERS MEMORIAL COOK-OFF SATURDAY

  

The Washington County Fairgrounds will host the Lloyd Saunders Memorial Cook-off this Saturday, April 7th.

A full day of judging, live music, games and auctions will get started at 11 o’clock Saturday morning with the bloody mary judging.  Barbara Saunders, Lloyd’s widow, and Joy Fuchs of the cook-off committee, talk about how the Lloyd Saunders Memorial Cook-off got started.

Besides the cook-off competitions for chili, beans, margaritas and bloody marys, there will be activities for the entire family Saturday centered around the entertainment area of the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Live entertainment throughout the day will include Clayton Adams in the afternoon before the 5 o’clock live auction.  Bobby Zee and the Trailboss Band will take the stage in the evening following the auction.  Saturday will be the eighth year for Lloyd Saunders Memorial Cook-off to raise funds for scholarships.
