LOCAL BURGLARIES UNDER INVESTIGATION

  

Brenham police are looking into a pair of burglaries, reported Wednesday.

Wednesday morning, around 10:00, Officer Jonathan Phipps met with a man at the police station in reference to the burglary of a motor vehicle.

The victim said sometime on last Friday a pistol was stolen from his car.

The pistol was valued at approximately $600.

The man says he wasn’t sure when or where the pistol was taken, and said that one of the doors on the car was broken and didn’t lock.

Wednesday night, Cpl. Seth Klehm responded to the 600 block of Matilda in response to the burglary of a home.

The caller said someone had stolen her television from her home.

Both cases remain under investigation.
