LOCAL EXHIBITORS PLACE AT STATE PECAN SHOW
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, with sponsorship from the Texas Pecan Growers Association, hosted the 94th Annual Pecan Conference and Trade Show, July 12-15, 2015 in Frisco, Texas. As part of the cornerstone event pecans from across the state of Texas were evaluated for quality and variety characteristics to determine the best pecan in each category, division, and overall. Washington County sent 19 entries to state this year. All Washington County exhibitors that entered placed with one for more of their entries. Those placing are as follows:
