LOCAL GAS PRICES CONTINUE TO FALL
Gas prices have taken another drop this past week.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Texas is $2.37—six cents less than last week and 24 cents less compared to this day last year.
The average price in Brenham is $2.36 per gallon—one cent lower than the state average. The low price, locally, is $2.25 per gallon, while the most expensive is $2.55.
Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed in Texas, drivers in Midland and Odessa are paying the most on average at $2.59 while drivers in McAllen are paying the least at $2.19 per gallon.
The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.64, which is four cents less than this day last week and 21 cents less than the price per gallon at this same time last year.
