LOCAL MEETINGS ON FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION IN JULY
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is holding several foster care and adoption informational meetings locally in July.
The meetings will be held at the Health and Human Service Departments in Brenham and Bastrop on July 9th, and Giddings on July 11th. Each of the meetings will be held at 6 p.m.
The meetings are open to the public for anyone interested in getting licensed as a foster or adoption parent with Child Protective Services. Representatives will be present to discuss the basic requirements, training, and responsibilities of a foster parent.
The meeting in Brenham will be held at 2248 South Market Street, in Bastrop at 3809 Loop 150 East, and in Giddings at 2020 North Main Street.
