LOCAL POLICE ARREST FT. WORTH MAN ON KIDNAPPING CHARGE

A Ft. Worth man has been arrested on a kidnapping charge at a Brenham hotel.
Thursday morning, just after 3:30, Brenham Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of US Highway 290 East in reference to a possible kidnapping case.
47-year-old Luis Gomez of Fort Worth was located, and the child with him was unharmed and was returned to the mother. Gomez was taken into custody on a charge of kidnapping.
He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
