LOCAL POLICE ARREST TWO AFTER DISTURBANCE

A verbal argument turned physical and led to two arrests in Brenham Saturday.
Corporal Ashley Burns responded to the 300 block of Rippetoe Street, in reference to a fight.
(Washington Co. Jail)
23-year old Mark Gonzales of Brenham was taken into custody for two counts of Simple Assault Physical Contact- Family Violence.
Also at the scene was 18-year old Julissa Gomez of Brenham, who was taken into custody for a warrant for Assault on a Public Servant out of Cameron County.
Both were taken to the Washington County Jail.
