LOCAL ROTARY CLUB DONATES OVER $50K

  

The Rotary Club of Washington County has announced that this year they raised over $50,000 for charity.

The club announced, today (Monday) that they raised $56,375 for charities in Washington County.

The donations were presented to charity representatives at the Club's May 31st, June 7th, and June 14th meetings.

The charities receiving donations on May 31st were; Brenham Children's Chorus, JAM Ministry, Hospice Brazos Valley, Unity Theater Summer Camp, Boys and Girls Club, and the Senior Center.

On June 7th donations were presented to Adam's Angels, New Beginnings, Camp for All, Heritage Society of Washington County, Washington-on-the-Brazos Association, Bread Partners, Washington County Summer Feeding Program, Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, and Volunteer Services Council BSSLC.

Then on June 14th Washington County Rotary President Page Michel presented donations to BISD Foundation, Faith Mission, Disabled American Vets, Miracle Farm, and Rotary House.

Club officials say they’re committed to serving the community by supporting numerous local charities and organizations.
