LOCAL SPECIAL OLYMPIANS COMPETE IN STATE BOWLING

Thursday, the Brenham Special Olympic Bowling team traveled to Austin to compete in the Special Olympics Winter Games, state bowling competition.

Coach Angela Moore:  "These athletes worked hard and had a tough competition at the state level.  We are so proud of their dedication.
They work very hard and have a positive attitude.  We couldn't be more proud of them!!!"

In two weeks, most of these athletes will be competing in the area basketball tournament along with their unified partners in San Marcos as well as starting track practice this coming week.
