LOCAL TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO MULTIPLE CHARGES

A Brenham man was taken into custody on multiple charges after a traffic stop Sunday evening.
30-year old Desmond Reed was pulled over by Brenham Police on South Chappell Hill Street, at around 8:00 p.m.
Investigation revealed that Reed had an outstanding felony Pardons and Parole warrant for his arrest.
Reed was also found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and his driver’s license was invalid with previous convictions.
Reed was taken into custody on the outstanding warrant, Possession of Marijuana and Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions, and issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
