LOCAL TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO WEAPON/MARIJUANA CHARGES

A Houston man was taken into custody after a Brenham traffic stop, Tuesday.
Police pulled of the vehicle in the 1400 block of Highway 290 West, for no front license plate.
After investigation, the driver, 20-year old Raul Garcia of Houston was taken into custody for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon and Possession of Marijuana.
Garcia was transported to the Washington County Jail.
