LOCAL TROUPE TO PRESENT MUSICAL AT SIMON THEATRE

  

A local company is presenting their production of a Tony and Oscar award winning musical this week.

Gibbous Moon Productions, non-profit theatre company, presents “Cabaret” at The Barnhill Center’s Simon Theatre this Thursday thru Saturday.

Cabaret” is a musical set in Berlin during the rise of Hitler and the Nazi party.  The musical is based on accounts by novelist Christopher Isherwood, and demonstrates how Germans reacted to the rise of Hitler.

Gibbous Moon Productions was founded in 2016 and consist of aspiring actors that have independently produced and performed numerous productions locally such as “Tortoise & Hare,” “Treasure Island,” “The Dining Room,” and “Dani Girl

Tickets are $18.00 and $15.00 for students which can be purchased in advance at the Visitors Center in downtown Brenham.

Tickets will also be available prior to each show and show times,  Thursday-through-Saturday at 7:00PM, with a 2PM matinee on Saturday.
