LOCAL VETERANS OFFERING BREAKFAST, DRIVE-THRU LUNCH ON VETERANS DAY
Veterans groups in Brenham and Washington County will offer Veterans Day meals.
James F. Dillon VFW Post 7104, located at 1200 East Tom Green Street, will host a breakfast on Veterans Day, November 11th. Doors will open at 7 a.m. and breakfast will be served at 8 a.m.
All veterans, along with their families and friends, are invited to attend the event, which has been held for many years to kick off the observance of Veterans Day. All COVID-19 protocols will be adhered to.
Meanwhile, the Washington County Veterans Association is sponsoring a drive-thru only beef and pork barbecue lunch on Veterans Day at American Legion Post 48, at 903 North Park Street.
Meal tickets are available from local veterans groups and at Dan’s Meat Market, Felder’s Buy N Bye, and Robert’s Service Station. Tickets are $12, and will only be sold in advance.
