LUFKIN TEEN CHARGED WITH KILLING 3-YEAR OLD

An East Texas teen has been charged with the murder of a 3-year old child.

17-year old Bobby W. Woods is accused of pushing a 3-year-old boy into a pond in Angelina County, to make room for his pregnant girlfriend's child to live at a residence.

Woods is being held without bond on a charge of capital murder of a person under age 6.  Woods, who was arrested Friday, has been booked as an adult.

The body of three-year old Mason Cuttler was discovered Aug. 18 in a pond near Lufkin, a day after he disappeared outside as his parents cleaned their home.

An affidavit says Woods, who lived at the home, admits he pushed the child into the water and left. The suspect's girlfriend is related to Mason Cuttler's father.

  1. I could not help but to cry as I read this.
A precious 3 year old is senselessly dead and a 17 year old has thrown away his life.
    Our world is crumbling.

    1. You are correct Consumer! Our country and the world is so violent and filled with hate! Very sad to hear this about a precious child! Breaks my heart! May we as a nation turn to God and live for Him! We need God so desperately in this world! Unfortunately the majority of people have turned there backs on God! There is a Huge price to pay for that! Now and in Eternity!
