“COOL NIGHTS, HOT TUNES” COMING TO BRENHAM APRIL 13TH

In the summertime heat of July during the “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” concert series in Downtown Brenham, the question is often asked, “Why don’t they have one when it’s cooler?”.

Caz Muske, Brenham’s new Main Street Manager, is excited to announce “Cool Nights, Hot Tunes” on Saturday, April 13th.  The popular Austin band “Suede” will entertain the crowd from 7:00 ‘til 10:00 p.m. from a stage constructed at the corner of Alamo and Baylor streets.  Muske says with the Chappell Hill Bluebonnet Festival going on April 13th and 14th during the day, that Saturday night seemed like the perfect time for a concert in Downtown Brenham.

Muske says just like the summer concert series, families are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the music.  There will also be the usual food and drink vendors.  Volunteers of Main Street Brenham are also bringing back the popular beer booth for this event, with proceeds from the booth benefitting downtown Brenham projects.  Muske thanks sponsors J & A Roofing, Brenham National Bank and Hermann Furniture, who are underwriting the free “Cool Nights, Hot Tunes” concert.
