MALCOLM BROWN NAMED 1ST TEAM ALL BIG-12
Former Brenham Cub and current Texas Longhorn football star Malcolm Brown has been named first-team All-Big 12.
Brown, a 6-3, 320-pound junior defensive tackle, had 64 total tackles for the Longhorns, and led the team with 14 tackles for loss and six-and-a-half sacks.
Brown has been named a 2014 finalist for the Bronco Nagurski Award (for top defensive player) and the Outland Trophy (top interior lineman). He is also on the watch list for the 2014 Chuck Bednarik Award.
