MAN ARRESTED AFTER RUNNING FROM BRENHAM POLICE
A Brenham man has been arrested on numerous charges after trying to elude police.
Tuesday afternoon, around 1:00, Cpl. Todd Ashorn and Officer Colin Godmintz were on foot patrol in the 900 block of North Park, near Firemen’s Park.
They report they saw 26-year old Justin Orlando Daniels who appeared to be smoking marijuana. When they attempted to approach Daniels, he reportedly fled on foot.
After a brief foot chase, officers were able to detain Daniels, who is charged with Evading arrest; Tampering with evidence; Resisting arrest; and Possession of marijuana.
